With the introduction of the Styx Consortium has a hostile neighbor to the
Segan Monarchy, and with demonstrations of the Liberty Heavy Behemoth
Class starships’ weakness to biological weaponry, the Segan Monarchy
decided to add to its Plan 112 program the introduction of a new class of
heavy battleships. Designed to have fully integrated bio-metallic hull
technology as well as a lower power profile, the Selevenar Class Heavy
battleship would be a smaller vessel with a more multi-purpose platform.
Capable of carrying 250 marine troops during planetary combat situations,
or able to provide an agile vessel for a starship-to-starship combat, the
Selevenar Class Heavy battleship will be one of the most versatile vessels
in the Segan Fleet. Also equipped with the latest in heavy-battleship
weaponry, the Selevenar class battleship is a powerful vessel with some
impressive capabilities. With the creation of The Alliance of Incorporated
Worlds, the Segan Royal Fleet handed over all Selevenar Class Heavy
Battleships to be used in The Alliance's newly formed Ghost Fleet.

Bio-Metallic Hull
(Integrated)
Manufacturer: Fairview Biological Engineering Corporation
Hull Type: Biological and Metallic Compound
Specifics: A bio-metallic hull resists normal torpedo and phaser
fire at 10% greater efficiency than a normal tritanium/duranium hull. A
bio-metallic hull design, however, receives 2x the damage a normal hull
would receive from a weapon of biological nature. The hull also features
self-reparative features, which makes repairs on the outer-hull 15%
faster. A bio-metallic hull also produces a smaller power profile, making
the ship less detectible and producing varying hull colors (gray-black/
green-teal/ yellow-orange/ red-burgundy).
Absorbing Material Hull
(2nd Generation)
Manufacturer: Sego-Federation Skunkworks Facility 38
Hull Type Treatment: Absorbing Material Hull Treatment
Specifics: All Ghost Fleet Heavy Destroyers are treated with a
special AMH treatment which causes the bio-metallic hull to absorb sensor
scans more effectively, this allows for the Heavy Destroyer to operate in
full combat-readiness, yet remain fairly detectible. When in full combat
situations, however, the AMH must be burnt off (this effect takes 5
seconds and causes the hull to turn a lighter shade) to allow the
bio-metallic hull to become fully ready to take on phaser hits.
Anti-Sensor
Detection Suite
Manufacturer: CRIM Corporation and TID
Incorporated
Model: ASDS 3rd Generation
Specifics: The Anti-Sensor Detection
Suite creates, unlike the other anti-sensor detection system aboard a
Clarel Class Heavy Destroyer, a lot of background sensor feedback. By
creating a lot of sensor traffic, the ASDS hopes to attain such a large
traffic that enemy sensors’ computer systems have trouble identifying
where the ship is. Although this effect is short, the ASDS is expected to
act as an emergency smokescreen in the event that the ship needs to make a
quick exit, stage left.

With
the Segan Monarchy accepting to retain its 10 Liberty Class planet-killers
as part of the Segan battleship fleet, the Segan Monarchy’s Next
Generation battleships were not designed to be planet-killers but rather
versatile command vessels for the next generation fleet. Larger than their
next generation destroyer counterpart, the Selevenar Class Heavy
battleships are more versatile and feature a larger support-craft squadron
than the destroyer. With 30 high-speed Zachary class fightercrafts part of
its fightercraft complement, the Selevenar Class heavy battleships have
the same support-squadron than their larger Federation counterpart, the
Pacifica class battleship. Armed with powerful and next-generation
upgrades of existing weapons, as well as some innovative new defensive and
torpedo technology, the Selevenar Class Heavy battleship is the benchmark
of Plan 112. Although less maneuverable than their smaller Clarel-Class
Heavy destroyer, the front weaponry placed upon the ship makes up for its
partial loss of agility. Still faster and more agile than any cruiser or
destroyer in the Segan Fleet, the ship is versatile, moderately agile, and
extremely power… a fitting a new flagship for the Monarchy.
When The Alliance acquired the Selevenar Class Heavy Battleship, they
determined that the vessels would become the next command vessels and
flagships of The Alliance's Ghost Fleet. Wherever they go, they herald the
supreme authority of The Alliance of Incorporated Worlds.
